Description
Needs
The Regulator Looks in A good condition, however Detailed Inspection and Evaluation by qualified consultants is required, In order to define the required maintenance and /or replacement and improvement works.
Objective
The regulator is constructed to withdraw water from Diyala river upstream Diyala Weir and divert the required discharges for irrigation into Khalis Main Canal located on the Right bank of Diyala river to irrigate cultivable lands within Upper Khalis Area . In addition of providing water for domestic use for all towns and villages within the project area
