Description
Marshes and Natural Depressions serve as a disposal places for drainage water of some irrigation project. This section is serving Al-Dawaiyah “Previously 30th July” (estimated discharge 25 m^3/s), and Dujailah Irrigation Projects. Drainage water is discharged into Sa’diyah and Nasiriya Marshes.
Needs
There is an opportunity to expand the use of the marshes to fisheries. Operation and Mantainance is required.
